Mindfulness is a way to reduce suffering through liberating the mind from its own thoughts. In the view of mindfulness, the the mind constructs a box of pain around itself. With mindful inquiry and application of mindfulness skills, you can get out of the box and enjoy a moment of bliss. From that state you can change how you feel and go about doing the things that need to be done to make your life beautiful.
